(Louisville, KY) Commonwealth Roofing Corp. (CRC) has just completed a roof for a home donated to the Urban Ministry Center (UMC). Community leaders Chase and Suzanne Krieger live in the home, located near Churchill Downs. Their mission is to provide neighborhood outreach and give practical service to those living in the area.
Since 1981, Commonwealth Roofing Corp. has served businesses and homeowners in Louisville, KY and surrounding areas. CRC is a family-owned business and received one of the very first certifications from the Kentucky Roofing Contractors Association (KRCA).
“We are pleased to partner with ABC Supply Co., Inc. to be able to provide a new roof for UMC,” said Nathan Sasse, President of CRC. “We are always looking for ways to give back, and happy that our service can cover the community leaders so that they can focus on helping neighbors.”
UMC began in 2004 as a Christian non-profit organization in the Portland neighborhood of West Louisville and has worked alongside numerous churches and other organizations towards the goal of revitalization. Eight homes in various Louisville neighborhoods have been donated to UMC, and they are used as home bases for missionary leaders.
“We would like to publicly express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude towards Mike Sasse and his team at Commonwealth Roofing Corp., as well as ABC Supply Co., Inc. for their generosity towards our house and missionary couple in the Churchill Downs/UofL neighborhood,” says Jared Miller, Director for UMC.
